If you want to distribute your MyM models on a USB stick or CDROM and you use the FILE statement in your models, you need to know there is a different behaviour of the mmake under the explorer (Make Model under the right mouse) and the DOS prompt. In the former case MyM expands the filenames and uses absolute paths in the model.mdl file to get to the data files.

Therefore it will only be possible to run the models on a different computer, if the data files included, can be found at the same location they were located on the computer that was used to build the model.

However, if you run mmake model.mdl on a DOS prompt, paths to data files are included relative to the location of the model.m file, making it easy to distribute your models.
